Many of the items we sell are Fair Trade. When you purchase Fair Trade items not only do you support the grandmothers in Africa, but also craftspeople in developing countries who are guaranteed fair wages for their work . As well, many of the artisans use sustainable or recycled materials. When we say ‘hand made’ or list the country of origin, those items are Fair Trade. Those of you who have shopped with us before, may notice an increase in some of our prices. As with all other industries, costs of materials and transportation have been rising steadily. We continue to offer you unique items at the best price we can.
